| African Pride Launches Luxury Tribe Hotel, Kenya |
|
26 March 2007 African Pride Hotel, Lodges and Country Houses is breaking borders, entering into Kenya with the launch of a deluxe city hotel, namely Tribe. "It is vitally exciting to be taking our luxury African Pride brand into Kenya, giving us presence in a key tourism market as well as a growing business centre in a location that is an arms length from the United Nations," said Aart van Der Heijden, Regional Director for Protea Hotels. Situated in the up-market Gigiri suburb of Nairobi, the hotel is attached to the trendy Village Market shopping and recreation complex, East Africa's largest all-in-one concept centre which features over 150 shops, restaurants and services. The complex is also less than a mile from the United Nations headquarters, the US and Canadian embassies and other diplomatic and non-governmental agencies. The world class Muthaiga Golf Club is a five minute drive away, as are a range of other activities. The hotel offers modern facilities and personal services including wireless internet access, a business center and meeting rooms, a wellness spa, individualized travel services and a well-versed concierge. The design is HIP and chic, with an emphasis on luxury and design elements. Rooms feature large LCD TVs, high-speed internet connectivity, open-plan bathrooms with high pressure showers, mood lighting and floor to ceiling mirrors. |
