Shopping
One of South Africa's premier shopping centres, Canal Walk (located in the Century City precinct), merges the world's most desirable brands with shopping convenience in a majestic setting. The centre boasts more than 400 stores, from large chains to specialist boutiques, a host of restaurants and a state-of-the-art cinema multiplex. The centre is open daily from 9am to 9pm.

Tourist Attractions
No trip to Cape Town is complete without visiting the top of Table Mountain. The Cableway takes you to the summit in under 10 minutes, and the rotating floor ensures 360 views of the city. The top of the mountain offers the most stunning vistas in the Cape. The V&A waterfront is one of South Africa's most-visited destinations. Set in a working harbour, against the backdrop of Table Mountain and magnificent sea views, the complex offers a shopping mecca, numerous entertainment venues, as well as the Robben Island Gateway and Cape Town Aquarium. Booking is imperative for the Robben Island museum, especially in season. A specially constructed ferry will carry to the island, where an ex-inmate will be your guide through the complex, which includes Nelson Mandela's cell.

Entertainment
The stylish Grand West Casino and entertainment centre is set in the guise of the Old Wild West. Tables are available for heavy rollers, as well as a host of slot machines. Entertainment is provided in bars and the saloon theatre, and there's a selection of themed restaurants to suit varying tastes. Also home to the only ice rink in Cape Town.

Winelands
The Cape Winelands cover an expansive area, spreading through mountain passes and lush valleys, and include the areas of Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.
