Endless Horizons Boutique Hotel is Durban’s new exclusive five-star-graded conference venue. Paired with an upmarket, intimate five-star boutique hotel, it offers guests the perfect opportunity to impress clients or colleagues with its comfortable surrounds, cutting-edge audio and visual systems and cordon-bleu catering. One of only two in KwaZulu-Natal to receive this grading from South Africa’s Tourism Grading Council, the venue can be configured to suit guests’ requirements and can seat up to 80 people. GUESTS giving presentations can arrive with only a memory stick, DVD or CD containing their presentation and the technical STAFF will take care of the rest.

Situated high above Durban North on Umhlanga Rocks Drive, Endless Horizons has a contemporary Zen feel, with peaked roof structures, wide rock-clad columns, timber detail and double-volume spaces. Water plays an integral role in the design. Long twin ponds with stainless steel water features flank the impressive entrance and immediately visible through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the public areas of the hotel, the sparkling infinity pool appears to flow directly into the Indian Ocean on the horizon.

The décor is understated, fresh and appealing - with antique Chinese, Thai and Indonesian artworks and furnishings interspersed with modern-day custom-made pieces. This creates a light and airy feel in the public spaces and is a refreshingly new approach. Fabrics reflect a citrus-coloured palette contrasted with ocean-toned blues, greens and turquoise, linked with neutral shades against dark timber contemporary furniture. Artworks range from intricately-crafted ancient wooden screens to giant block-mounted photographs of organic elements.

Access to the upper level is via a floating timber and brushed stainless steel staircase and this floor boasts ten luxurious double/twin bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. 1. From the Airport to Endless Horizons Boutique Hotel:
Route 1:
From the airport get on the N2 towards Durban City. Keep on the N2 and turn off at exit 177 - this off ramp reads Kwa-Mashu R102 Inanda. Turn right into North Coast Road. At the third traffic light on North Coast Road (at Brick City) turn left into Rinaldo Drive. Follow Rinaldo until you get to the third road on your right hand side called Longwoods Drive. Turn up Longwoods and follow the road right to the top of the hill until you reach a set of robots. Turn right into Umhlanga Rocks Drive. We are the 3rd house on your left hand side of Umhlanga Rocks Drive. There are two electronic gates with Endless Horizons written on them, the entrance is at the first gate.

Route 2:
From the airport get onto the N2 towards Durban City.  Keep on the N2 toward Umhlanga (North Coast) and turn off at exit 182 – this off ramp reads M41 Umhlanga.  Turn right onto M41 (E) Umhlanga, which passes over the N2.  Drive up the hill and under the steel Millennium Bridge and take the next off ramp to your left which is sign posted M12 Umhlanga Rocks Drive.  Keep right and follow the La Lucia Ridge sign posted road,  as you will turn right in to Umhlanga Rocks Drive at the traffic lights at the top of the off ramp.  Follow Umhlanga Rocks Drive and continue straight through the turn circles in the corporate business park.  You will drive for +- 5kms through a residential area and green belt through 3 sets of traffic lights.  Endless Horizons will be the 3rd house on your left after you pass through the Longwoods Drive traffic light intersection.  There are two electronic gates with Endless Horizons written on them, the entrance is at the first gate.

2. From the Durban International Convention Centre (ICC) to Endless Horizons Boutique Hotel:
>From the Durban ICC, get on to the M4 North Coast Road, Stalwart Simelane Street (Old Stanger Street).  Follow the M4 North Coast road over the Umgeni River past the Riverside off ramp.  Turn off at exit 4 which reads Broadway Durban North and follow Broadway up the hill.  Carry on with Broadway and keep right.  At the intersection where Nando’s is on your left and the Total garage is on your right, turn right into Kensington Drive.  Carry on with Kensington Drive through the Beachway intersection past the Northwood Boys High school on your right, turn left in to Margaret Maytom.  Drive to the top of Margaret Maytom and turn right in to Umhlanga Rocks Drive.  Endless Horizons will be the 3rd house on your right.  There are two electronic gates with Endless Horizons written on them, the entrance is at the second gate.
