African Pride Irene Country Lodge

Nestled in the historic village of Irene, centrally located between Johannesburg and Pretoria, the rustic charm of African Pride Irene Country Lodge awaits you.

The lodge’s 74 rooms are elegantly designed with African mahogany wood furniture complimented by rich textured fabrics in earthy tones creating a warm ambience, reminiscent of the comforts of an old countryside manor but reflecting a unique South African flavour.

The 15 rooms in the forest are charmingly nestled amongst the trees, with colour schemes in browns, oranges and greens. The spacious rooms are tranquil and cool, and filled with leather, pewter and wood, emphasised by the natural light pouring inside through the sky windows. These rooms were purposely designed to create the feeling of being inside the forest. The rooms are open for bookings and are proving very popular with our GUESTS.

This superb 140 m2 suite has an optional Butler on standby 24 hours a day to look after your every need. Hidden away in our amazing natural Camdeboo Forest. The suite boasts an inside and outside lounge and dining area that can seat up to 8 GUESTS. Adjacent to our superior rooms for additional accommodation requirements. High loft ceilings to give that additional sense of space.

Irene is a suburb of Centurion which is conveniently situated between Midrand and Pretoria. Making the travel to the Union Buildings and surrounding areas a mere 15 min drive away and the travelling to Sandton a 30 min drive, now with the GAUTRAIN these journeys are even more convenient.
