Rosenhof Country House is situated on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn, en route to the Cango Caves and Ostrich Farms. The carefully renovated homestead (Circa 1852), with its yellowwood beams and ceilings and a tasteful collection of antique furniture, exudes an aura of authenticity. The lovely rose garden, which gave Rosenhof its name, leads to stylishly decorated bedrooms, each individually furnished. All rooms provide air-conditioning, satellite television, telephone, mini bar and tea trays. The two Executive Suites each have their own pool, lounge and patio, with tranquil views of the Swartberg Mountain.

Rosenhof Country House has a cosy pub and several luxury lounges with fireplaces where visitors can relax and admire works from well-known South African artists. In summer, cool down in the pool or take tea in the manicured gardens. The Wellness Center offers a fully equipped gym, Jacuzzi, sauna and a beauty clinic. Arriving from R62 in Oudtshoorn
Follow the main road that you enter Town with. At the third traffic light, turn left into Baron van Reede Street. Follow this road for about 1,5 km. We are situated on the corner of Baron Van Reede and North Street on the right hand side of the road. We are right opposite the Protea Hotel Riempie Estate.

Arriving from the N2 via Mossel Bay
The two roads connect to one another just before you enter Oudtshoorn. Follow the above directions.

Arriving from the Garden Route via George
Stay on the main road that you enter the Town with, and follow this road straight through the town. You will pass 3 traffic lights. About 1 km from there you will find Rosenhof, on the corner of Baron van Reede Street and North Street, on the right hand side of the road. We are also right opposite the Protea Hotel Riempie Estate.

C.P. Neel Museum

In 1972 the CP Nel collection was brought to its present home - the former Oudtshoorn Boys' High School. As a result of this, the sandstone building, with its beautiful clock tower, was saved from demolition. The building as a whole dates back to the second "ostrich feather boom" (1900 - 1914) and was declared a National Monument in 1981.

Le Roux Townhouse

The house was built in 1909, when Oudtshoorn was in the midst of the second Ostrich Feather Boom (1900 -1914). Money being no object, the brief for this Townhouse was that it be designed by one of Oudtshoorn's best-known architects, with the most modern innovations, and built with the best of imported and local materials.

The Le Roux Townhouse is situated in High Street, between Church and St Saviour Street.
